The Student Debt Time Bomb

Indebted students are a force to be reckoned with

There’s a generational time-bomb ticking—and the student debt crisis is the tripwire.

Adults under 35 disproportionately bear the brunt of escalating inequality.

America’s educated youth are graduating into an economy with stagnant wages and a torn safety net. Federal and state budget cuts, meanwhile, have spiked tuition costs and cut public services that aid young workers, such as transportation and affordable housing….

The Student Debt Time Bomb

Poem – One Step

One Step

All it takes is one Step

Then there are two Steps, but from a second pair

The Luxury is gone that when the problem is at our doorsteps only Then we should care

But new ideas have been landing

People are waking up, standing

Now it is Us! That are demanding

They, are not the only One’s that are planning…

For a brighter day

A Freedom to chose how we live and play.

Kids can build a stand & sell lemonade

Without fear of Big Blue coming & taking it all away.

I own what I bought, made or built

& not constantly pay taxes for it, like some form of guilt

Especially when it all goes to accessorize and sparkle their hilt

All the while The People’s crops wilt.

I know exactly what I’m eating.

Given all the facts & information so I can chose & think freely.

That little we ask for & they say, “That’s Not Easy”

Leaders do exactly that, Lead

Works for the common man to provide exactly what they need

An end to corporate greed

With Earths resources and technology mankind can succeed!

There is no reason, for one to rise, others are kneed.

Though that is what The People, are starting to see

Change is in the Wind

Shot’s heard round the world where would it begin

Aw I’m just daydreaming

Thank you,

The parents have been charged with no crime, let alone been convicted of any wrong doing, and yet the children still remain separated from them, placed in foster care, as the State of Arkansas continues to collect federal funding for each child that has been placed into the foster care system…

The Subway Gangs of Mexico City

When the children are not given avenues or ways to express themselves, they will find ways to just that.

It’s Saturday morning in a Mexico City subway station, and the members of the Panamiur gang are headed to a party. Their leader, Cidel, is wearing huge sunglasses, a fauxhawk slathered in hair gel, cargo pants, and a T-shirt with a giant 2 and 6 airbrushed across it—a reference to November 26, 2010, the date the Panamiurs were founded.
