9 Things You Think You Know About Jesus That Are Probably Wrong

Jesus has been described as the best known figure in history, and also the least known. If you mentioned the name “Jesus” and someone asked Jesus who, you might blink. Or laugh. Even people who don’t think Jesus was God mostly believe they know a fair bit about him. You might be surprised that some of your most basic assumptions about Jesus are probably wrong.

We have no record of anything that was written about Jesus by eyewitnesses or other contemporaries during the time he would have lived, or for decades thereafter. Nonetheless, based on archeological digs and artifacts, ancient texts and art, and even forensic science, we know a good deal about the time and culture in which the New Testament is set. This evidence points to some startling conclusions about who Jesus likely was—and wasn’t.

1. Married, not single.

When an ancient papyrus scrap was found in 2014 referring to the wife of Jesus, some Catholics and Evangelicals were scandalized. But unlike the Catholic Church, Jews have no tradition of celibacy among religious leaders. Jesus and his disciples would have been practicing Jews, and all great rabbis we know of were married. A rabbi being celibate would have been so unusual that some modern writers have argued Jesus must have been gay. But a number of ancient texts, including the canonical New Testament, point to a special relationship between Mary Magdalene and Jesus. The Gospel of Phillip says, “[Jesus] loved her more than all the disciples, and used to kiss her often on her mouth.,”….

Massive European Pyramids Discovered

The Bosnian Pyramid, Visocica Hill, is the first European pyramid to be discovered and is located in the heart of Bosnia, in the town of Visoko.

Because of its similarities to the Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan, Mexico, it has been named the “Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun”. There are also a four more ancient structures on the site, the Bosnian Pyramid of the Moon, Bosnian Pyramid of the Dragon, Bosnian Pyramid of the Love and Temple of the Earth, with a paved entrance plateau and discovered underground tunnels.

(Summer 2013) An extraordinary phenomenon. The pyramids in Bosnia. According to Semir Osmanagich, the discoverer, the largest and oldest in the world. According to others, a natural phenomenon. All over the world pyramids have been discovered, the most famous in Egypt. But also in South America, China and other parts of Asia. At first glance the pyramids might seem a kind of monumental buildings in honor of kings and rulers as our history books tell us. But if we look closer to the facts we discover that these structures might be a little bit more than that. Judge for yourself.

20 History Questions They Refuse To Answer In School

Traditional educational systems basically teach us that the history of man only dates back to about 8,000 years ago while religious texts date mankind to approximately 6,000 years ago.  It is more than obvious that there a massive push to occlude our true history and origins.

While you may not agree with some of the questions, please try to view them with an open mind.  As you’ll see, the history we have been taught has been manipulated and obscured from us.

Ask yourself (or others) the following questions and feel free to comment at the end of the article!

A map drawn on a gazelle skin of an unfrozen Antarctica was found in 1929.  The map was drawn in 1513 by Piri Reis, who had privileged access to the Imperial Library of Constantinople.  Contained within the notes found on the map, Reis stated that he compiled and copied the data from a large number of source maps, some of which dated back to the 4 BC or earlier.  Our history books tell us that Antarctica was discovered by Captain James Cook while crossing the Antarctic Circle on January 17, 1773 with the ships HMS Resolution and Adventure.

1. How did Reis know of Antarctica several hundred years before Captain James Cook ‘discovered’ it?

The last time Antarctica was not frozen was at least 4,000 BC, so…

Common Core: Sixth Graders Asked To Revise ‘Outdated’ Bill Of Rights

Sixth grade students from the Bryant School District in Arkansas were asked to throw out two amendments in the Bill of Rights as part of a Common Core history class assignment.

Throw it out…… It’s out dated anyway :/
The worksheet reads:“The government of the United States is currently revisiting The Bill of Rights. They have determined that it is outdated and may not remain in its current form any longer.”…….

Common Core: Sixth Graders Asked To Revise ‘Outdated’ Bill Of Rights

How can a School that is paid by the Tax payers, teach their students that the Bill of Rights can be changed so easily. Its almost as if they are preparing the future to just give them up all together.

Parents know what your children are learning in school, & show them all the Facts & whole picture. Not just the once side portrayed in Class.

Example, Columbus Day :/
