On Tuesday Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a joint session of Congress, and what he said was more or less what you’d expect: Basically, Iran is untrustworthy and dangerous, and allowing it to continue even a limited version of its nuclear program is going to lead to an “arms race” in the Middle East. The audience was dominated by Republicans, and they clapped like crazy as they listened to the speech.
The fact that the speech even happened was bananas. Netanyahu was invited by House Speaker John Boehner, who declined to ask the White House whether it would be OK for a foreign head of state to come preach to Congress about the dangers of the administration’s impending nuclear deal with Iran. Obama didn’t meet with Netanyahu during his visit, and Democrats—including usually staunch defenders of Israel—didn’t hide how upset they were over the Israeli prime minister’s heavy-handed slight.,,,
We Asked a Military Expert What Would Happen if the US Stopped Giving Money to Israel
Imagine the Elite with their own Robot Army. They answer only to them and obey all orders.
Reality is more scary then fiction.
The US military has increased its expenditures on drone programs for the year 2015. Research and development budgets have also been increased, though other military branches experience a considerable budget cut.
The US military has cut the general defense budget and introduced money-saving plans to stop traditional aircraft programs, while increasing expenditures on the drone fleet.
This means that MQ-9 Reaper program will provide the Air Force with 12 new attack drones. RQ-4 Global Hawk program has the largest funding increase comparing to 2014. At the same time, the MQ-1 Predator, and RQ-7/RQ-11/RQ-2 Shadow, Raven and Blackjack programs have seen a big budget cut, though, in general, the Pentagon requested $59.7 million more for its drone programs for 2015……
US military chooses spy robots over men, boosts drones’ budget for 2015
I remember as a young child that the key to winning a lot of the neighborhood games in football and basketball was all about who got picked first. If you were lucky enough to get Michael on your team, then you knew you were going to win. If you were in a foreign park playing against kids you did not know, Michael was the great equalizer. I also knew that getting the right kids on my side helped in spelling bees and walking home from the movies so I didn’t get beat up. Learning how to organize my team with the right people, served me well when I became a men’s college head basketball coach in terms of winning the recruiting wars. I always felt the April recruiting wars was the deciding factor in many games in the following December.
America is in the choosing sides phase of the coming civil war. To use a college recruiting phrase, it is accurate to state that the letters of intent to join one side or another side, have mostly been signed and the commitments offered. However, there is one big uncommitted piece, but very soon the sides will be drawn….
The Sides Are Forming for the Coming Civil War
Have you chosen your side?
Sexual assault complaints in the US military increased by an unprecedented 46% during the last year, according to the latest Pentagon figures.
There were 3,553 sexual assault complaints from October 2012 to June 2013, compared to 2,434 during the same period last year, according to statistics released on Thursday, at the start of a two-day congressional panel looking into the the problem.
It was unclear whether the upturn in official complaints could be attributed to a growing number of attacks, or whether more people felt able to report an attack.
Reports of military sexual assault rise sharply, Pentagon figures show
While the Military is supossably “Protecting your Freedom”, who is protecting them?
A Defense Department program transfers military-grade weapons and vehicles to local law enforcement. It’s the last thing we need
America’s streets are looking more and more like a war zone. Last week, in a small county in upstate New York with a population of roughly 120,000 people, county legislators approved the receipt of a 20-ton Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle, donated by the US Defense Department to the county sheriff.
Between the Armored Personnel Carriers locking down main streets in major American cities – mimicking our MRAPs in Afghanistan – or Special Weapons and Tactics (Swat) and Special Forces units canvassing our country, if we’re not careful, this militarization of our domestic policing will make-over America, and fast.
Here’s how it all happened. A little-known Pentagon program has been quietly militarizing American police forces for years. A total of $4.2bn worth of equipment has been distributed by the Defense Department to municipal law enforcement agencies, with a record $546m in 2012 alone….
America’s police are looking more and more like the military
Police now incite Fear, Shoot first ask questions later, & trust is out the window.
They have forgotten to Serve & Protect. The first duty of any Law Enforcement .
It should be mandatory for police to take Constitutional Law & Bill of Rights Class. They must understand & know the Laws they are suppose to uphold. Only then they can be called “Law Enforcement”.
